Established in 1978, we have operated from a 3-acre site, with 30,000 ft² of warehousing in Deeside, North Wales.
We were the frontrunner in the licensing of our non-ferrous and ferrous recycling facility in North Wales.
In 1998 we introduced melting capacity into our operation and now produce approximately 8000 tons per annum of RSI. Our high purity melting methods provide a distinct competitive advantage to our clients.
We specialise in the recycling of high purity aluminium alloys, helping customers and suppliers develop a “closed loop” supply chain, delivering to leading global producers that serve the primary aerospace and aviation markets throughout the world.
The ‘closed-loop system’ allows us to acquire, high-purity scrap from aerospace suppliers, subsequently processing and melting their production scrap offcuts and briquetted aluminium.
Our company manufactures 500kg ‘in specification’ re-melt primary sow (RSI), which can be used as a direct primary replacement in aerospace alloy production, yielding a substantial reduction in CO₂ emissions.
The utilization of our processes and controls supports considerable reductions in CO₂ emissions. The production of 1 ton of primary aluminium can produce up to 20 tons of CO₂, when compared to the use of 1 ton of recycled aluminium as a direct primary replacement, which generates only 0.41 tons of CO₂, a reduction in CO₂ emissions of 98% can be achieved.
Our ability and commitment to preserving purity, composition and yield has led to us developing into an extremely trusted partner and integral link in the aerospace and aviation sectors.
We have an industry recognised reputation for quality, securing high-grade scrap aluminium from global aerospace manufacturers with the confidence to resupply and reintegrate into the supply chain ensuring complete traceability.
Our close working relationships with major aerospace suppliers of input materials, has enabled us to maintain waste aluminium material supply since 1998. These contracts are continuing to extend, enabling us to firmly establish ourselves within the wider aerospace supply chain as both a provider of scrap collective services and producer of quality RSI. These services are essential to the aerospace industry as they continue to drive towards a greener process for the future.
